As one of Detroit’s oldest and largest charter schools serving over 4,800 children in grades K-12, our mission is to ensure students achieve success in life. Comprised of 3 school districts and 10 schools; University Prep Academy, U Prep Art & Design and U Prep Science & Math the UPrep network provides students with career pathway programs and unique learning opportunities. Students who attend our schools obtain an awareness of what is possible in life, an opportunity to ignite passions from within, and the support to help them achieve their academic and career goals.
