Dual Enrollment at U Prep!
U Prep Schools offers high school students in all three districts, two dual enrollment opportunities.
Students in grades 10th-12th have the opportunity to enroll in Research Design, Speech, Digital Marketing, Management and much more at Lawrence Technological University (LTU) to earn three transferable college credits. Classes at LTU are offered at no cost to the students, and books, as well as laptops, and other necessary equipment is distributed for their use during their enrollment period. As a result of this partnership with LTU, any U Prep student who graduates, and attends LTU will receive a 50% discount off of their four-year tuition to Lawrence Tech University. The university is also providing scholarship opportunities to 9th grade students interested in attending any of their summer enrichment camps.
U Prep Art & Design 11th and 12th grade scholars also have the opportunity to enroll in college-level courses in Fashion Design, Product Design-Sneakers, Transportation Design, Figurative Illustrations and more at the College for Creative Studies (CCS) into the Bridge Program. Upon successful completion of the courses, students earn three college credits per class, that are transferable to their college transcript. Upon completion of the program, students have the opportunity to compete for the Bridge Scholarship which pays a healthy amount of the student’s cost to attend four years at CCS.
